IMPORTANT SOFTWARE NOTE TO PROGRAMS: (5.15.2013) As the ARC-PA transitions to the revised accreditation process, all application documents, templates, change forms and reports due to the ARC-PA will be developed in Microsoft Office 2010 and may not be compatible with Office 2007 and earlier. Programs are urged to plan accordingly.
WEIGH IN ON WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS: (4.17.2013) In keeping with requirements looming on the horizon by the USDE and CHEA for more and more transparency of actions by accrediting agencies and outcomes from programs, the ARC-PA Executive Committee will be discussing several important topics this summer. Program directors and faculty are invited to submit their thoughts on these topics to the ARC-PA no later than May 31, 2013 to a special mail box for such comments as noted in the attached link.
NOTES TO PROGRAMS: (4.8.2013)The Spring 2013 Notes to Programs document includes information from the March 2013 commission meeting. This document is sent to each program director and the person to whom s/he reports via am email generated by the portal, based on the email addresses entered into the portal by the program.
UPCOMING WORKSHOPS: (1.9.2013): The summer ARC-PA Accreditation and You workshop will be held in St. Louis, Missouri, July 21-23, 2013. The Provisional Pathway conference will be held in Atlanta, Georgia November 21-22, 2013.

Responding to ARC-PA Observations and Citations (1.4.2013) The Accreditation Manual (available in the Standards section of the web site), in addition to presenting information on interpreting and complying with the Standards, contains important information about ARC-PA policies and procedures. This document is excerpted directly from the manual. Programs are to follow directions in correspondence from the ARC-PA about how to submit reports and materials to the ARC-PA. Programs should not upload documents to the Program Management Portal unless instructed to do so.
