Entering the ARC-PA Provisional Accreditation Pathway

Online Conference

April 22-23, 2021

This conference will give individuals involved in the planning of a PA program an overview of the provisional accreditation process. It will provide an orientation to the Standards, address completing the provisional application and preparing for the initial site visit and give participants the opportunity to ask questions.

Dates and Times:

The conference begins at 1:00 PM (ET) on Thursday, April 22, 2021 with sessions until 5:00 PM (ET).  On Friday, April 23, 2021 the conference begins at 10:00 AM (ET) and adjourns at 5:00 PM (ET) with a scheduled lunch break.

 Priority registration will be given to programs attending for the first time who are on the Commission’s 2022 agendas.

Registration:

Registration for the conference is CLOSED.

Cancellation policy:

Registrants who are unable to attend the conference for any reason may substitute, by arrangement with ARC-PA, someone else from the same institution at no additional expense.

  1. If a registrant is unable to attend an event and a substitution is not an option, the following refund arrangements will apply:
    1. Registrations cancelled 15 days or more before the event will be refunded 100%.
    2. Registrations cancelled less than 15 days before the event will forfeit $500 of the event fee and the remaining balance of the fee will be refunded.
  2. Refunds will be issued within 2 weeks after the event.

Clinical Postgraduate Conference

April 24-25, 2021

This conference will give Clinical Postgraduate Programs interested in applying for an overview of the clinical postgraduate accreditation process. It will provide an orientation to the Standards, address completing the provisional application, preparing for the initial site visit and give participants the opportunity to ask questions.

Dates and Times:

The conference begins at 11:00 AM (ET) on Saturday, April 24, 2021 with sessions until 6:00 PM (ET) with a scheduled lunch break.  On Sunday, April 25, 2021 the conference begins at 11:00 AM (ET) and adjourns at 3:00 PM (ET). 

Priority registration will be given to programs who have submitted a Postgraduate Applicant Information Form.

Registration:

Registration for the conference is CLOSED.

Fees:

The registration fee for the Clinical Postgraduate Conference is $1,500 per person.

Registration fees must be received by April 9, 2021. The ARC-PA does not accept credit cards. More information about payment of fees will be sent with conference registration confirmation.

Registrants who are unable to attend the conference for any reason may substitute, by arrangement with ARC-PA, someone else from the same institution at no additional expense.

ARC-PA Workshop Accreditation and You
Online Workshop

July 22-24, 2021

This virtual workshop will provide PA program faculty an overview of the accreditation process including sessions designed to give participants the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the interpretation of individual Standards 5th edition.  It focuses on bringing the Standards 5th edition and required data reports together as working tools for programs. Sessions will address the application and site visit, data collection and analysis over time for the self-study report and specific Standards cited most often in the 4th edition.

Dates and Times:

The Accreditation and You workshop begins at noon (EDT) on Thursday, July 22, 2021 with sessions until 6PM (EDT).  On Friday, July 23 the workshop begins at 10:00 AM (EDT) and adjourns at 6:00 PM (EDT).  On Saturday, July 27, the workshop begins at 10:00 AM (EDT) and adjourns at 2:00pm (EDT).

An optional Overview of Accreditation for new faculty is included in the workshop fee and will be held 10:00am-11:30am (EDT), Thursday, July 22, 2021.

Register early. Priority will be given to first time registrants from programs scheduled for site visits in 2021-2022. Programs are limited to two attendees per program. Individuals serving as consultants to programs are not eligible to attend.

The Registration Form is due by June 30, 2021.  The ARC-PA will send confirmation of registration to the email listed on the registration form.

Fees:
The registration fee for the Accreditation and You workshop is $1,300 per person. The fee includes all meeting materials.

Registration fees must be received by July 9, 2021.

Workshop information including connection instructions and access to workshop materials will be emailed to all registered attendees a week prior to the conference.

ARC-PA Self-Study Workshop
Online Workshop

July 25-27, 2021

This interactive workshop will help participants understand and apply the elements of data analysis and appropriately document a robust ongoing self-assessment process.  The workshop will require participants to actively engage in data analysis as it relates to the Self-Study Report required of programs undergoing accreditation review under the Standards, 5th edition.

Dates and Times:

The Self Study workshop will run from  Sunday, July 25, 2021 through Tuesday, July 27, 2021 with sessions each day from 10am (EDT) until 5pm (EDT). 


Space is limited
. Register early. Programs are limited to one attendee per program. Priority will be given to:

  • Programs scheduled for a Provisional Monitoring, Final Provisional, or Continued site visit from September 2021 through December 2022
  • Programs scheduled for a focused site visit that requires a self-study report submitted between September 2021 through December 2022.

Registration:

The Registration Form is due by June 30, 2021.  The ARC-PA will send confirmation of registration to the email listed on the registration form.
