Entering the ARC-PA Provisional Accreditation Pathway

This conference will give individuals involved in the planning of a PA program an overview of the provisional accreditation process. It will provide an orientation to the Standards, address completing the provisional application and preparing for the initial site visit and give participants the opportunity to ask questions.
Dates and Times: The conference begins at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 23, 2020 with sessions until 6:00 PM (followed by dinner, provided). On Friday, April 24, 2020 the conference begins at 7:00 AM (breakfast and lunch provided) and adjourns at 3:00 PM.
Space is limited. Priority registration will be given to programs attending for the first time who are on the Commission’s 2021 agendas. Limit, two attendees per program.
Registration Forms: Available here. The form is due by February 28, 2020. The ARC-PA will send confirmation of registration to the email(s) listed on the registration form.
Fees: The registration fee for the Provisional Pathway Conference is $2,000 per person. The fee includes all meeting materials, breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner.
Registration fees must be received by March 6, 2020. The ARC-PA does not accept credit cards. More information about payment of fees will be sent with conference registration confirmation.
Air, hotel and other travel arrangements should not be made until registrants receive confirmation of registration from the ARC-PA.
Travel: Attendees are responsible for making their own travel and hotel arrangements.
Hotel: The conference guest room rate at The Georgian Terrace is $199 per night plus tax, based on availability, single or double occupancy. The hotel is 20 minutes (12 miles) from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. The ARC-PA has reserved a limited block of rooms from Wednesday April 22 to Friday, April 24. To secure a hotel room at the conference rate, hotel reservations must be made by March 20, 2020.

Attendees must notify the hotel, at the time of reservation, that they are with the ARC-PA Provisional Accreditation Conference to obtain the group rate of $199.00.
Cancellation policy: Registrants who are unable to attend the conference for any reason may substitute, by arrangement with ARC-PA, someone else from the same institution at no additional expense.
- If a registrant is unable to attend an event and a substitution is not an option, the following refund arrangements will apply:
- Registrations cancelled 15 days or more before the event will be refunded 100%.
- Registrations cancelled less than 15 days before the event will forfeit $500 of the event fee and the remaining balance of the fee will be refunded.
- Refunds will be issued within 2 weeks after the event.

Accreditation & You Workshop – July 25-27, 2020
This workshop will provide an overview of the accreditation process including sessions designed to give participants the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the interpretation of individual Standards. Sessions will address the application and site visit, data collection and analysis over time for the self-study report and will focus on the Standards, 5th edition.
The Accreditation & You Workshop will be held at the Hilton Downtown Cleveland in Cleveland, Ohio. The workshop will begin at noon on Saturday July 25th and end at noon Monday July 27th.
Space is limited. Priority will be given to programs scheduled for site visits from September 2020 through December 2021.
Programs are limited to two attendees per program.
Registration will open in January 2020.
Self-Study Workshop – July 28-30, 2020
This interactive workshop will help participants understand and apply the elements of data analysis and appropriately document a robust ongoing self-assessment process. The workshop will require participants to actively engage in data analysis as it relates to the Self-Study Report required of programs undergoing accreditation review under the Standards, 5th edition.
The Self-Study Workshop will be held at the Hilton Downtown Cleveland in Cleveland, Ohio. The workshop will begin at 8am on Tuesday, July 28th and end at noon Thursday July 30th.
This workshop will focus on small group activities and space is limited to 75 attendees.
Priority will be given to:
• Programs scheduled to submit a 3 Year Out Self Study Report from September 2020 through December 2021
• Programs scheduled for a Provisional Monitoring, Final Provisional, or Continued site visit from September 2020 through December 2021
• Programs scheduled for a focused site visit that requires a self-study report submitted between September 2020 through December 2021
Programs are limited to one attendee per program.
Registration will open in January 2020.
