ARC-PA Workshop Accreditation and You

July 25-27, 2020

Virtual Meeting via Zoom

In recognition of the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the travel abilities for many PA faculty members, the ARC-PA will conduct the Accreditation and You Workshop via a virtual format, using Zoom technology. 

This workshop will provide PA program faculty an overview of the accreditation process including sessions designed to give participants the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the interpretation of individual Standards 5th edition.  It focuses on bringing the Standards 5th edition and required data reports together as working tools for programs. Sessions will address the application and site visit, data collection and analysis over time for the self-study report and specific Standards cited most often in the 4th edition.

Dates and Times:  The Accreditation and You workshop begins at noon (CST) on Saturday, July 25, 2020 with sessions until 6PM (CST).  On Sunday, July 26 the workshop begins at 7:00 AM(CST)  On Monday, July 27, the workshop begins at 7:00 AM (CST)  and adjourns at noon(CST)  .  

An optional Overview of Accreditation for new faculty is included in the workshop fee and will be held 9:30am-11am(CST)  , Saturday, July 25, 2020.

The ARC-PA is hopeful that offering the workshop over Zoom will allow participation of faculty members who may, otherwise, be unable to attend.  Therefore, registration has been extended to July 3, 2020.

Space is limited. Priority will be given to first time registrants from programs scheduled for site visits in 2020-2021. Programs are limited to two attendees per program. Individuals serving as consultants to programs are not eligible to attend.

Cancellation policy for ARC-PA sponsored events

  1. Registrants who are unable to attend an event for any reason may substitute, by arrangement with ARC-PA, someone else from the same institution with no additional expense.
  2. If a registrant is unable to attend an event and a substitution is not an option, the following refund arrangements will apply:
  3. Registrations cancelled 15 days or more before the event will be refunded 100%.
    b. Registrations cancelled less than 15 days before the event will forfeit $500 of the event fee and the remaining balance of the fee will be refunded.
  4. Refunds will be issued within 2 weeks after the event.

ARC-PA Self- Study Workshop

July 28-30, 2020

Virtual Meeting via Zoom

In recognition of the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the travel abilities for many PA faculty members, the ARC-PA will conduct the Self Study Workshop via a virtual format, using Zoom technology. 

This interactive workshop will help participants understand and apply the elements of data analysis and appropriately document a robust ongoing self-assessment process.  The workshop will require participants to actively engage in data analysis as it relates to the Self-Study Report required of programs undergoing accreditation review under the Standards, 5th edition.

Dates and Times:  The Self Study workshop begins at 8am (CST) on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 with sessions until 5PM (CST).  On Wednesday, July 29 the workshop begins at 7:00 AM (CST) and adjourns at 5:00 PM (CST).  On Thursday, July 30, the workshop begins at 7:00 AM (CST) and adjourns at noon (CST).


Space is limited
. Register early. Programs are limited to one attendee per program. Priority will be given to:

  • Programs scheduled for a Provisional Monitoring, Final Provisional, or Continued site visit from September 2020 through December 2021
  • Programs scheduled for a focused site visit that requires a self-study report submitted between September 2020 through December 2021.

Clinical Postgraduate Conference

August 10-11, 2020
Virtual Meeting via Zoom

This conference will give Clinical Postgraduate Programs interested in applying for an overview of the clinical postgraduate accreditation process. It will provide an orientation to the Standards, address completing the provisional application, preparing for the initial site visit and give participants the opportunity to ask questions.

Dates and Times:  The Clinical Postgraduate Conference begins at 8am (CST) on Monday, August 10, 2020 with sessions until 5pm (CST). On Tuesday, August 11 the workshop begins at 8am (CST) and adjourns at 3pm.

Registration:

The Registration Form is due by July 24, 2020. The ARC-PA will send confirmation of registration to the email listed on the registration form.

Fees:

The registration fee for the Clinical Postgraduate Conference is $1,500 per person. The fee includes all meeting materials.

Registration fees must be received by July 31, 2020.

The ARC-PA does not accept credit cards. Make checks payable to: ARC-PA, Inc.
